Since we introduced our very first Cheddar back in 2001, Snowdonia Cheese Co’s small-batch products have won multiple awards around the world – and some of our bestselling cheeses and cheese bakes keep winning again and again.Our award-winning Black Bomber, our signature extra mature Cheddar, is still crafted using our original recipe. Demandingly moreish, it combines amazing creaminess with intense, deeply savoury flavour notes.Our Rock Star vintage cave-aged Cheddar is another standout, matured to perfection in Welsh slate caverns. It’s won numerous accolades for its smooth creaminess and a complex depth of flavour with a hint of sweetness.Then there’s Red Storm, our 18-months matured vintage Red Leicester. The recipient of many medals including several coveted British Cheese Awards, it’s complex, refined and beautifully balanced with sweet caramel notes. And Truffle Trove – the winner of a Great Taste Award, among others – offers a decadent combination of extra mature Cheddar and Black Summer truffle for a rich, earthy aroma and a truly indulgent taste.And our cheese bakes – introduced in 2023 – have been scooping up prizes, too. Our Black Bomber Welsh Rarebit Cheese Bake, combining our famous Cheddar with the flavours of a traditional Welsh rarebit to create a deliciously velvety hot dip, took home a Great Taste Award in 2024. And our Rock Star Fondue Cheese Bake, with vintage Cheddar, cracked black pepper and Sauvignon Blanc, has won a gold medal at the International Cheese & Dairy Awards.
