Real Bread Week (18th-26th February) celebrates the joy of independent bakeries and home-baked loaves. And the perfect accompaniment to a fine loaf of bread? Excellent cheese, of course. To mark the occasion, we’ve gathered together a pair of delicious bread recipes featuring Snowdonia Cheddar and Red Leicester.

The ultimate cheese loaf

Transform a rustic sourdough loaf into a sensational feast to share. To make our Red Storm sharing cheese & bread melt, hollow out the bread and fill it with a mixture of cream cheese, Worcester sauce, paprika, black pepper and Red Storm, our award-winning vintage Red Leicester. Once it’s been melted in the oven until golden, the molten centre makes a decadent dip for crackers, crudites and toasted chunks of leftover sourdough.

Demandingly moreish cheese straws
