Rock Star baguette

Ingredients:

  • 1 small fresh baguette
  • 1 dessertspoon Balsamic Caramelised Onion Chutney
  • Handful of rocket leaves
  • 4 thick slices Rock Star
  • 1 large gherkin, thinly sliced
  • 3 cherry tomatoes, halved

A cheese sandwich is one of life’s simple pleasures – and our vintage cave-aged Cheddar makes this a particularly delicious light lunch option. Cherry tomatoes and our Balsamic Caramelised Onion Chutney make the perfect partners for this distinctively rich cheese, while gherkin slices and rocket leaves add even more layers of flavour.

METHOD

  1. Split the baguette down the centre.
  2. Spread each side with chutney.
  3. Arrange the rocket leaves inside the baguette.
  4. Place cheese slices and cherry tomatoes down the middle.
  5. Roll up the gherkin slices and place them between the cheese slices.
  6. Serve immediately.
