Fans of Snowdonia Cheese Company have long been pairing our award-winning cheeses with wine or craft beer – they’re a match made in heaven! We’ve been trying to find the perfect wines and beers to include within our cheese hampers for some time, so we’re excited to reveal that we’ve finally just done that. Our latest range of hampers celebrate these classic pairings and make a great gift for any special occasion, including Father’s Day on 20th June.
The wine we’ve selected is Viña Real Crianza Rioja, a silky and full-bodied Spanish red produced from a blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha and Mazuelo grapes, hand-harvested from the villages of Laguardia and Elciego. With aromas of fruit cake and spice on the nose, it has richly fruity flavours and well-balanced tannins that make it an impeccable match for our cheeses. You’ll find a half bottle taking pride of place in our new Deluxe Cheese & Red Wine Hamper and our Classic Cheese & Red Wine Hamper, alongside a selection of Snowdonia cheeses and chutneys plus crunchy buttermilk crackers.
