And who better than Giusti, Italy’s oldest vinegar maker and the choice of top chefs around the world?
The Giusti family has been producing balsamic vinegar in Modena since 1605, and they’re still guided by a recipe based on the written notes of Giuseppe, their ancestor. The winner of numerous prestigious awards, Giusti has a heritage that’s characterised by a commitment to traditional methods and the proud guardianship – passed through generations – of its treasured “black gold”.
Purple Vale is the fusion of delicacies sculpted by time. Snowdonia’s mature Cheddar, expertly aged until lusciously rich and full-bodied. Balsamic vinegar of Modena, made with slow-cooked local grape must which is then matured in centuries-old oak barrels and given a generous serving of patience to reach perfection. Place a wedge on a Wholemeal & Extra Virgin Olive Oil Cracker, topped with Balsamic Caramelised Onion Chutney, and savour it with a juicy, medium-bodied Italian red wine.
