The nights are drawing in and it’s chilly outside, so it’s definitely time to roll out your favourite comfort food recipes. We’ve gathered together some of our favourite cheesy feasts – some new, some classic – to see you through the colder days.

First, we have a pair of delicious cheese dips to add to your winter repertoire: perfect for dipping crusty bread and sliced veggies such as radishes, carrots, celery and cherry tomatoes. Choose between the smooth and velvety hot Welsh rarebit dip with Black Bomber, our award-winning extra mature Cheddar, or our Red Devil chilli bake dip , which has a fiery, cockle-warming kick thanks to our Habenero-spiked Red Devil.

We’ve also reinvented that definitive winter side dish: potato gratin. This truffled version is elevated by the earthy creaminess of Truffle Trove, our extra mature Cheddar with Black Summer truffle. It makes a luxurious accompaniment to roasted meats.

Finally, no winter would be complete without fish pie. Topped with melted, golden Black Bomber, this decadent dish features white fish, salmon and smoked haddock and holds its own as both a family supper and as a make-ahead main course for a dinner party.
