Pizza doesn’t have to mean reaching for the takeaway menu. Everyone’s favourite Italian feast is easy to make at home – and we have an ever-growing list of pizzas in our recipe collection, from quick weekday lunches to indulgent weekend treats. What’s more, even one has been given a Snowdonia Cheese twist thanks to the addition of our luxurious Cheddars, Red Leicesters and chutneys.
For a simple lunchtime treat, our Green Thunder flatbread pizza is a must-try. It uses a ready-made flatbread as a base, topped with our Spicy Tomato & Vodka Chutney as the sauce. It’s piled high with roasted vegetables, olives, basil leaves and, finally, Green Thunder, our mature Cheddar with roasted garlic and herbs.
Alternatively, a flour tortilla makes a lovely crispy base for our spicy Red Devil and tuna melt pizza. This one is all about the spicy flavours: sweet chilli sauce is topped with tuna, sweetcorn, spring onions and grated Red Devil, our fiery Red Leicester with Habanero chillies and peppers.
For pizza night or a weekend treat, fans of our award-winning extra mature Cheddar will love our Black Bomber, salami and caramelised onion pizza. Black Bomber brings a layer of creamy richness, while the addition of our Balsamic Caramelised Onion Chutney lends a subtle sweetness that also works brilliantly with the spiciness of the salami.
Or to introduce a slice of luxury to your weekend, there’s our Truffle Trove, fillet steak and mushroom pizza. Here, a deliciously tangy sourdough base is topped with shiitake mushrooms, finely sliced fillet steak, Fig & Apple Chutney and Truffle Trove, our extra mature Cheddar with Black Summer truffles.
