A sweet, deliciously earthy twist on a summer salad. This fresh and fruity dish balances ripe seasonal berries with the savoury depth of our truffle-infused extra mature Cheddar, Truffle Trove. Serve it as a starter, a side – or the main event.

A sweet, deliciously earthy twist on a summer salad. This fresh and fruity dish balances ripe seasonal berries with the savoury depth of our truffle-infused extra mature Cheddar, Truffle Trove. Serve it as a starter, a side – or the main event.

Method

  1. Take a round serving platter and spread the mixed salad leaves evenly across the surface.
  2. Scatter the quartered strawberries over the leaves along with the raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries.
  3. Using a cheese knife or vegetable peeler, shave thin slices of Truffle Trove cheese. Gently place them around the platter among the berries and greens.
  4. Sprinkle the crushed pecans across the salad for added crunchy texture.
  5. Finish with a light drizzle of balsamic vinegar.
